ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
mission of Client Services is to meet market needs for speed, flexibility and reliability, while driving and influencing best operational practices to make Express Scripts the most competitive and effective PBM.
Client Services includes Client and Benefit Administration, Manual Claims Processing, Eligibility, Quality Control, Implementation and the Client Service Center. These centralized functions support the client lifecycle throughout the enterprise to help Express Scripts “get it right the first time” to increase client satisfaction and reduce waste and the cost of rework.
Overall management of client installations and on-going operational needs.
Responsible for managing people within department .
Support market group by applying technical knowledge and experience to assume increased.
Manage special projects and assist in the development of operating procedures.
Manage operational excellence through work efficiencies and established metrics while increasing productivity (accuracy, maintaining higher volume of activity, fewer escalated operational issues).
Ensure department compliance with CLASS meetings, facilitate sessions and contribute to CLASS process.
Manage implementation of product and plan changes.
Provide operational support to department and utilize applicable tools for research and analysis regarding client issues, questions or adjustments.
Manage to compliance of client requirements and contract terms.
Manage, identify and escalate implementation risk points.
Participate in operations market group leadership meetings.
Oversee comprehensive book of business changes within operations.
Analyze root cause of more complex issues, book of business and global for market groups as well
recommend solutions and establish operating procedures.
Manage and coach the Operations team on multiple projects in a complex and high stress environment.
Interface with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction.
Understand standards or requirements around plan changes and performance guarantees and ensure adherence to those timeframes.
Responsible for coaching, development, and performance of their direct reports.
College degree required.
Min of 4-6 yrs experience in related client service.
Previous operations management experience.
People management experience required.
Excellent PC Knowledge.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to multi-task.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Demonstrated experience with development and management of people.
Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
