This position is located in Mooresville, NC.
This is an outstanding opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new capability that will influence the strategic direction of application and integration architecture at Lowe’s. This team will partner with other architecture functions to design and implement ESB capabilities that will serve as a foundation for platform integration and enable service-based solutions.
The candidate will serve as a Technical lead, and will be a part of the Lowe’s Integration Solutions Service Delivery Organization, supporting the core integration applications across the IT environment.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a detail oriented and customer focused IT professional with a strong background in EAI technologies. This position also requires a high degree of teamwork and interaction with various business units, making interpersonal skills and a positive attitude extremely important. Finally, the successful candidate will demonstrate a creative and forward thinking approach to both problem solving activities and development and delivery of innovative, high quality solutions.
The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for work at an extremely high level of technical complexity. In addition to designing, coding, testing, implementing and documenting complex application programs, the Senior Programmer Analyst is expected to analyze complex user requests, accurately size the effort and thoroughly develop the application. The Senior Programmer Analyst will often serve in a leadership capacity and provides support for systems incidents including after hours support. Additionally, the Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for cultivating and applying an understanding of Lowe’s methodology, policies, standards, and internal and external controls.
• 5-8 years of full life-cycle experience in the analysis, architecture, development and promotion of EAI solutions including the use of SOA solutions (with emphasis on MQ and SOAP over HTTP)
• Hands-on experience in design, development, implementation and support of SoftwareAG webMethods solutions
• Solid Web Services interface design skills with in-depth knowledge of XML, XSD and WSDL
• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable job-related experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Proven systems design experience
• Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (viewed as a plus):
• IBM WebSphere DataPower
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages (Java/J2EE)
Mainframe Environments (CICS, COBOL, DB2)
• Retail systems knowledge
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
