GENERAL SUMMARY: Seeking Veterans who have recently come off of Active Duty (~3 years) to join our workforce in support of the Nation-wide upgrade of Cellular/Wireless Technologies. Qualified candidates will receive training on both the Wireless Industry and various construction tasks on wireless telecommunications sites including AC/DC electrical installations, grounding, delivering and installing OEM base stations, light concrete forming and placement.
Training will be provided by General Dynamics Wireless Services at our Training Facility in Brentwood, TN. Qualified candidates will receive training on all disciplines/equipment mentioned above. Qualified candidates will also be provided with all relevant OSHA health and safety training and certification as well as Tower Safety and Rescue training and certification.
Candidates will also be outfitted with all necessary safety equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs various construction tasks in the areas of AC/DC electrical installations, grounding, delivering and installing OEM base stations, light concrete forming and placement
2. AC/DC electrical testing and troubleshooting
3. Uses test equipment, power tools and hand tools
4. Performs all work in accordance with established OSHA and General Dynamics safety procedures.
5. Participates in special projects as required.

Recent Military Experience
Associate's Degree in a related discipline.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
1-3 years of related electrical experience

1-3 years of related electrical experience.

1. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
2. Advanced knowledge of safety guidelines and commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Electrical Construction or a related field.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work is typically performed in an outdoor environment at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work requires moderate physical effort in the handling of light materials, tools or equipment.
