Position Responsibilities:
The Customer Account Manager is responsible for positioning Verizon to win key strategic business opportunities within the Houston and surrounding area. The CAM will develop the overall win strategy and capture plan, Builds strategic relationships with existing and potential clients t the business executive level. New sales opportunities and revenue growth will come from solution selling and providing a clear, compelling and articulate explanation of our business value to prospective clients within integrated strategic solutions to include Intelligent Networking, Managed Services, Security services, Cloud services, mobility and virtualization. Utilizes extensive business and industry knowledge to build long term relationships with customers and with partners. Highly developed presentation and facilitation skills gained in a client-facing environment, Excellent written and oral communications skills. Independent, self-motivated and success driven, yet able and willing to take direction. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required Skills & Experience:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of all product offerings, company technology and competitors in an integrated solutions environment. Uses professional selling skills to overcome difficult selling situations in new or imaginative ways. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations requires an evaluation of intangible variables. Performs complex sales-related and administrative tasks under self-direction. At least 5 years of high level government work experience and/or business development experience for major integrators or telecommunications companies.

Desired Skills & Experience:
Demonstrates a detailed knowledge of the Integrated Solutions within the Information Technology Industry with detailed understanding of competitor offerings and industry trends. Establishes relationships with key decision makers at customer level and expands relationship with them. Uses professional selling concepts and skills to overcome difficult selling situations in new or imaginative ways. Degree required. GovEd sales experience required.
