Min Qualifications

This position requires typing and spelling test scores. The testing can be completed at the Texas City Workforce at 3549 Palmer Highway in Texas City. Be sure to mention that you want to take the tests for positions at UTMB Health. Testing is available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM (except holidays). No appointment is needed. A photo ID is required. Test scores are valid for one year. If it has been more than a year since you tested, you will need to retest.

Min Qualifications

High school or equivalent; 4 years related experience, 85% spelling accuracy, type 40 words per minute.

Job Description:
To provide clerical, secretarial, and office administrative support to a process or area ensuring operational administrative process continuity.

Salary Range

From $34,880 to $52,320 Annual Salary Range, Commensurate on experience.

This position is a BAND CODE: CS13

Specific Job Related Duties

Process travel authorizations/travel expenses; process department expenses; track numerous databases; run reports from Excel and Access; departmental filing; maintain office supplies; separate employees upon resignation/termination; maintain employee database; handle new employee onboarding for department; track unlock door requests; track all special details from the President's office; badge repair/cleaning mailing; answer phones; maintain calendars; strong customer service skills; high level of confidentiality; independent and capable of working with little supervision; other projects as assigned by supervisor.

Preferred Skill/Competency

Intermediate or Advanced experience with Excel and Access. Peoplesoft FMS & HCM experience. General database knowledge. Strong experience with Word/Outlook.
