The Senior Analyst has research and analysis responsibilities focusing on healthcare delivery reform in both the public and private payer sectors. The Senior Analyst will work with the Vice President for Product Strategy and other internal stakeholders to analyze the impact of new regulatory policy, payment models, and delivery systems on Press Ganey and its clients with an overarching goal interpreting industry developments to support creation of business positions (strategic and tactical) and formulation of product strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Maintain a broad awareness of all federal legislative, regulatory and environmental developments that may affect Press Ganey business strategy.
Research and analyze various population health and health care issues; prepare reports for delivery to internal business leaders and knowledge briefs for client facing use.
Gather and prepare content for client-facing communications including regulatory newsletters, policy alerts, and quarterly executive decks.
Research and analyze the latest trends and developments in private sector payment and delivery models.
Interpret federal legislative and regulatory activities to support development of business position documents and product strategies.
Interface with regulatory affairs, sales, project teams, business leads, and other interdepartmental efforts to ensure cross functional coordination.
Pursue professional development activities that contribute to subject matter expertise.
Writing and presentation experience is required.
Experience and knowledge in public policy research, health systems, payment models, and health care delivery models.
Critical thinking ability with excellent research skills.
Evidence of very strong communication, analytic, organization, time management, presentation and computer skills.
Energetic and possessing a positive attitude; ability to relate well to others; meet deadlines; handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work with multiple functional areas and to lead cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to internal meetings, conferences, and client organizations.
Education and Training Requirements
Bachelor's degree required and 6-8 years experience is essential.|
