The Sr. Analyst, CMS Required Reporting will be a creative / resourceful professional responsible for assisting multi-disciplinary product and service groups to develop reporting to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities include the management and development of standard reporting packages to support the delivery of information that supports business and client requirements consistent with the standard reporting framework and methodologies with a focus on Medicare Part D reporting.
Manage all phases of the reporting development life cycle from initial conceptualization, planning and requirements through construction, testing and delivery including:
-Reviewing business requirements (BNTS) for assigned reports
-Designing and approving actual report templates / content
-Reviewing functional / technical requirements
-Reviewing test plans
-Creating / managing project plans
-Facilitating issue resolution
-Identifying / validating data sources and methodologies to ensure consistency and accuracy
-Investigating data integrity and issue documentation
-Performing operational and reporting system analysis
-Serving as the primary liaison among product teams, technical programmers and account teams
-Interfacing with various functional groups such as Account Management, Finance, Contracting, Operations, Channel Management, Clinical Products, etc. in order to facilitate the creation of new and/or modification of existing reports and processes
-Creation and documentation of field / client facing Business Use Cases, FAQs, Policies & Procedures, and Field Alerts
-Management and remediation of Internal Audit findings
-Support of DVAs
-Support and participation in Compliance reviews
-Support of CMS Reporting readiness for 2014 & beyond
-Bachelor's Degree required and 5-8 years of relevant experience
-Background in computer science, finance, statistics, mathematics or other quantitative field is strongly preferred
-Strong PC computer skills including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
-Strong data analysis skills including knowledge of Visual Basic and/or SQL
-Experience in writing CMS required reporting is preferred
-Quantitative and analytical skills using very large transactional databases or background in data management a plus
-Excellent communication and presentation skills [written and verbal]
-Must have a high level of organization and interpersonal skills, flexibility to cope with change, and ability to multitask across a variety of assignments
-Self-starter, able to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
-Maintain a high degree of professionalism in reporting relationships and interpersonal interactions.
