Leo Burnett Detroit is seeking a Sr. Copywriter with long-form
writing talent and catalog experience to work on a well-known automotive brand.

About this position:
re seeking a seasoned Copywriter who
can demonstrate examples of both longer form writing and catalog deliverables
that will be produced by the design department. Finished pieces will include
high-end brochures and other branded collateral.
While this person will be dedicated to the automotive
category, automotive experience is not necessarily required. The ideal person
will have past examples of writing for a client who has one overarching brand
that encompasses a portfolio of other brands/sub-brands; be it in the
automotive category or otherwise. This person must also be able to incorporate
automotive industry language, without always necessarily using a technical
approach. We are seeking someone who can zero in on the nuances to distinguish
one vehicle model from another – who can emphasize key selling attributes and
artfully weave in relevant lifestyle messaging.
The right Copywriter will possess a keen understanding of
the structure of a brand
s identity – how the visual,
verbal and execution come together to create a holistic experience.
The Copywriter will partner with our team to collaborate on
projects, working with other high-caliber creative talent in a team of equals.
