This important role requires a highly motivated, results-oriented professional to develop and execute the marketing strategy for nCircle products, with a broad skill set including product positioning, and experience in competitive, go to market and partner strategy. Success will be measured by the ability to drive market adoption, customer awareness, and thought leadership. Deliverables include strategic messaging, product launches, training, innovative sales tools, and more. This is a hands-on, multifaceted, and dynamic position requiring both a strategist and an implementer. This position requires cross-functional coordination, sales engagement, and critical analysis skills. The ideal candidate will also be a creator of thought leadership content, including presentations, whitepapers, and social media/blogging. The Senior Director Product Marketing reports to the Vice President, Marketing. S;pecific Responsibilities:
  • Strategic positioning, working with analysts, product management and sales organization and partners, to articulate and communicate nCircle?s distinctive competence and unique advantages in the marketplace and help customers, press and analysts understand why what we?re doing is valuable to the market.
  • Product positioning to distill key functionality and benefits into differentiated product marketing messages not only at a high level but for new and current products and also for individual new technologies or features that we bring to market.
  • Bring creativity to content development and deliver messaging for all selling and marketing channels. Content includes presentations, sales tools, press releases, white papers, web copy, audio/video content, newsletters, social media, product collateral, and event materials .
  • Plan and execute detailed cross-organizational product launch plans .
  • Support corporate marketing activities, including: offer-based demand generation, event support ,online and social marketing, Google keyword programs.
  • Direct product planning towards the real market opportunities based on trends and industry insights and work with the cross functional team as an active participant in developing product strategies.
  • Establish a process that enables rapid ?what if? analysis based on market demand and revenue expectations.
  • Deliver presentations and speak with customers and prospects.
  • Manage the product marketing team overseeing all nCircle product lines ? encompasses 4-6 people.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • BA/BS required, in business, marketing or related field, MBA desirable.
  • At least 10 years of work experience in a product marketing/solution marketing in a high tech environment, preferably security.
  • Expertise and a proven track record successfully marketing enterprise and/or SaaS applications and IT services .
  • At least 7 years? experience in managing a product marketing team and delivering concrete results.
  • Proven positioning and messaging skills .
  • Ability to think strategically with tactical execution.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, visual/presentation skills.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in leading complex product launches.
  • Strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions in a collaborative style.
  • Strong analytical skills, high-level detail and follow through.

  • Must have great attention to detail, highly organized with a focus on quality work.
