Job Description
: We are looking for an experienced individual who enjoys collaboratively designing solutions to a variety of complex business problems that may span multiple projects. The Architect III is responsible for scope related decisions and drawing conclusions related to the need for and design of capabilities during program initiation and providing oversight and input into the project initiation and design phases used to support a program. These decisions shape, align and guide activities throughout the implementation of a program. The decisions are made early in the project lifecycle where the cost impact is the greatest and the impact on program alignment with the goals of the business is the most significant. A lead architect is focused on the creation of new capabilities where an existing roadmap does not exist.

Job Requirements
: Required Education

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related area establishes the minimum foundational knowledge necessary to successfully perform in this position. A Masters degree is preferred.

Required Experience

3+ year’s prior experience leading architecture teams specific to a specified architectural domain. Experience must address complex large scale projects.

A minimum of 8 years total experience in an architect role.

Progressive experience building, maintaining and managing models supporting a particular architectural domain at both a project and program level.

Progressive experience initiating and driving both projects and programs either in IS or business departments, with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Warehouse Management Solutions

Business Intelligence Solutions

EDI Solutions

Data Architecture

Progressive experience serving in the role of a consultant or business focal handling communication between business groups and IS, including definition and documentation of scope and phased delivery for programs.
