NIB Team Member Role: Senior EDI Developer/Specialist

The Senior EDI Developer/Specialist is responsible for technical analysis, design, development, implementation, troubleshooting and documentation of EDI systems, processes and services. Collaborate with business users, affiliated organizations and vendors on technical SOA/EDI issues and initiatives.

Job Requirements
: Specific Duties and Responsibilities: *
  • Identify and define EDI business requirements and specifications *
  • Develop and maintain B2B, BPEL and XML Gateway processes *
  • Monitor B2B, BPEL and XML Gateway daily processes for different EDI transactons including 850,860,855,810,856 and 846 *
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical EDI issues *
  • Develop and maintain procedures for monitoring EDI transactions *
  • Collaborate with end users and third party organizations on EDI technical issues *
  • Identify and recommend EDI process improvements *
  • Provide programming development services using JSP *
  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation

Minimum qualifications: *
  • BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience. *
  • 5+ years of Information Technology systems development *
  • 2+ years of EDI Developer experience

Training and Specialized Knowledge *
  • In-depth knowledge of EDI Processing *
  • Knowledge of EDI standards and methodologies. *
  • Working knowledge of Java, J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP, Tag Libraries, JMS, Web Services, WSDL, XML, XSL. and JDeveloper *
  • Knowledge of SQL/PLUS *
  • Knowledge of weblogic, apache and application server *
  • Knowledge XML Gateway, Oracle BPEL and adapters (desired) *
  • Email Notifications, BAM, BPM, B2B, SOA EM ,SOA Admin Console and J-developer (desired) *
  • Knowledge Oracle E-Business Suite (desired)
