In response to our continued growth of our core business, we are actively seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer for our Portland OR Office. This position will include the opportunity to work with our top clients and provide excellent momentum for career growth and advancement.
B. S. Electrical Engineering is preferred, but consideration will be given to other engineering degrees based on actual project experience.
Minimum 7 + years of experience in Tool Installation Design in a semiconductor manufacturing industry. Candidate must have experience in:
Electrical as building
Electrical circuit assignment
LSS HPM & TAS
Electrical Engineering calculations (GEC, OCPD)
Excellent knowledge of UL870 and NEC requirements
Project Lead roles
Experience and being comfortable in a HVM cleanroom environment is a must.
Responsibilities include accountability for complete project execution including safety practices, electrical design reviews, schedule management/, coordination of design work, site management, team management, constructability and installation support.
The Senior Electrical Engineer/ Project Manager must supervise/ direct Electrical engineering resources for projects, Provide leadership to ensure projects are up to specifications, internal policies, drafting standards, compliance, and semiconductor guidelines.
This position requires the ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities on an accelerated schedule. Candidates need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. Maintaining and growing solid client relationships is a key responsibility, along with analytical, organizational skills
Requires depth and fluency in engineering and project management tools including; Excel, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD. Candidates must be proficient at converting information into project documentation, and creating logs of all applicable data into an organized and efficient historical system.
40 – 60% travel will be required to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings, Design Group management meetings, company sponsored training and industry related seminars, forums or conventions.
Initial Travel may be higher than this in order to support other regional projects.
