AIG is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for its Legal Entity Federal Regulatory Reporting. This newly created position will report to the Manager of Federal Regulatory Reporting and will help in the preparation and submission of financial filings required for companies regulated by the Federal Reserve. As part of this new regulatory environment, AIG will comply with new financial reporting requirements. This position will also help transition the Company to this new regulatory environment and establish a business-as-usual reporting process to comply with the Federal Reserve reporting requirements.

Work with corporate and business accounting corporate consolidation functions to meet various reporting requirements (FRY-9C, FRY-9LP, and FRY-11/2314).

Review the filings for consistency and completeness across the organization and to the financial records.

Manage the diverse reporting process to assure timely and accurate filings.

Analyze new requirements as they occur to determine their impact on the Company's public reporting and monitor developments in the Federal Reserve reporting arena.

Interact with various areas of the Company including other Comptrollers units, Treasury and various business units.

Position Requirements

B.A. / B.S. degree in Accounting or comparable experience. Public Accounting and/or a CPA is preferred.

Previous Federal Reserve Board or similar regulatory experience (e.g., former FED examiner) or experience within the Corporate consolidations functions is most helpful.

Experience with Regulatory reporting such as Forms FRY-11, 2314, experience with Forms FRY-9C, Y-9LP, Y-11, 2314, Y-8, Y-12, and Y-6,FFIEC 009, 101, 031.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.

3 or more years of accounting and financial reporting experience is critical.

Knowledge of Insurance accounting practices is desired.

Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight time frames.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Highly motivated team player that is detail oriented
and ready to contribute.
