The IT Shared Services Organization is seeking a Senior Software License Analyst to take a leadership role managing the full life-cycle of third-party software and license compliance. This individual will be responsible for implementing and tracking compliance with policies, procedures and standards associated to software asset and license management.
·Maintain all software information including contracts, purchase information, intended use, deployments, entitlements, and other information necessary to support business processes.
·Review new software requests to ensure the product meets the current and/or future business needs and manage license availability.
·Track, reconcile & monitor software inventory and utilization; harvest licenses where applicable.
·Maintain proficiency with key vendor license rules and associated metrics.
·Manage software lifecycles to mitigate compliance risks and reduce TCO.
·Track vendor license agreements, true-ups & reconciliation.
·Provide solutions to systematic and business problems regarding license issues for end users.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
·Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
·At least five years of experience working in IT software management and compliance.
·Expert knowledge and administration of Software Asset Management Policies and Procedures.
·Experience in documentation of processes related to software management.
·Experience with major software vendors including: Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, VM Ware, Etc…
·Experience with SCCM and HP Asset Management tools beneficial.

·Expert knowledge of Software Asset Management principals / practices.
·Expert knowledge of software licensing models and compliance risks.
·Strong understanding of software management concepts and technologies.
·Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
·Strong project management, written and oral communication / presentation, and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers.
