Tencent America LLC is looking for a Senior Director of Business Development to help us grow our U.S. business. We seek a highly capable and passionate individual who is willing to lead/grow others but also enjoys working in a team environment to drive deals that are significant to our business. Key Responsibilities:
Discover and evaluate high quality games for licensing and evaluate the capability of development studios

Provide recommendations to maximize revenue and win new business

Communicate effectively and consistently, ensuring key decisions and directions are visible to all team members and executive stakeholders

Manage new customer pipeline, including providing feedback on researched accounts and generating new leads

Develop strong partner relationships with companies

Financial modeling and business negotiation

Own and follow through the entire business transaction process

May manage a Business Development Team

Must have led the licensing process for at least 2 signifcant online games

8+ years of experience with at least 5 years in business development or licensing in the gaming industry

At least 3 years in a manager or director or equivalent role at major gaming companies with good track record (negotiating licensing in the gaming industry)

Direct experience with contract negotiations

Must have a good and well established reputation in the gaming industry

Experience attending all major tradeshows (ie. GDC, Gamescom) and handling industry relationships

Experience managing business development teams a plus

Ability to travel 50% or more
