Job Purpose:
Leads both short term strategy, as well as day to day executions of key shopper marketing programs for top retailers.

Major Accountabilities:
Annual Planning - Lead overall management and annual planning for Shopper Marketing.
Lead short term strategy development, working with professional marketing, channel, pricing, consumer marketing and sales functions
Lead strategic planning sessions and execution of tactical plans
Lead shopper marketing program development and execution.
Collaboration with Marketing Team to deliver building block objectives for each of the top 5 retailers.
Kroger, Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreen, Safeway
Continually monitor and optimize shopper marketing programs to ensure effectiveness.
Proactively make recommendations to modify annual plan to address gaps and ensure brand objectives are met.
Lead insight development of business, category and competitive trends to develop business strategies and tactics.
Oversee development of messages and tools for trade team that align to brand strategy
Manage work processes and own dotted line reporting relationship with Marketing Communications Associate

Direct Reports:


6 years of sales/marketing experience
At least 4 years in consumer/ brand/ shopper marketing.
Minimum 1 year of people management.
Prior experience managing/ working with Marketing Agency required.
Brand management experience including managing agency and launch activity.
Analytical experience with IRI and/or Nielsen data, and ability to use analysis to make strategic recommendations.
Strong written and oral presentation skills.
Cross functional leadership skills.
Proven leadership capability, shopper marketing thought leader and innovator/ executor of creative ideas.
Proven track record of delivering business results.

Education Required:
MBA pref.
