The Senior Manager of Business Operations – Ad Network will be integral to continuing the growth of our media revenues as well as the scaling of our sales teams. Their primary goal will be to provide insights and analysis to support the rapid growth and international expansion of our media business.
This role requires the establishment of strong working relationships with sales leadership combined with an analytical ability to dig into team performance and customer buying trends. The candidate will develop frameworks to assess the sales organization across a global footprint and drive a deeper understanding of advertiser spending patterns. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in, and at times facilitate, high impact business decision-making, challenging and fast paced execution, and strategic issues.
Manage and lead sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes across global sales operations including:
Regular reporting of team performance versus goals and provide recommendations on areas of improvement
Compensation plan structures across multiple products and regions.
Rate card development and partner rebate programs
Sales cycle trends and develop tools to enhance forecasting
Customer cohort analyses across multiple attributes
Salesforce.com usage to streamline reporting and consistency of data
Skills and Qualifications:
BS or BA in a business related field of study, MBA a plus
7+ years of experience in sales operations or operations finance roles with a minimum of 2 years in a management capacity
Proven ability to lead and succeed in a collaborative, start-up paced environment
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications
Excellent time management and multitasking/prioritization abilities and organizational skills
Strong Excel modeling and quantitative skills
Prior experience working in Salesforce.com
Experience in international operations a plus
