Return Rate Reduction - Review Data for High Returns Classes and evaluate Packaging and Merchandising initiatives to reduce returns
Customer Returns Options/Policy - Provide subject matter experience to retail online customer returns experience and partner with IT to enable these options and articulate this policy on the THD site
Vendor Policy - Partner with Merchandising to negotiate Returns Allowances and implement vendor policy for handling returns
Returns Cost Reduction Strategy - Implement projects that drive supply chain efficiencies in the reverse logistics supply chain
THD Cross-Functional Ops/Financial/System Process - Define, Document, Track, and Continuously improve Returns performance across the enterprise enabling the operations teams to be successful through strategy and policy including Stores, DCs, Call Center, etc.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Provide support and direction for area's efforts.
Manage all aspects of assigned area's of operations and programs.
Participate in strategic planning and facilitate action on these plans for the assigned area. Provide technical logistics expertise on assigned area as well as store/retail expertise as needed..
Plan resources in order to complete competing priorities within the provided timeframe. Prepare project design and timelines.
Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff. May have limited authoirty to negotiate transportation costs for in-bound and/or outbound freight.

Physical Job Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
6 + years of Distribution operational experience in a Sr leadership capacity.
Online returns managment experience at THD or another retailer
Financial P&L Responsibility
Proven experience in driving cross-functional supply chain performance improvement projects in either the typical supply chain or the reverse logistics supply chain. Reverse Logistics experience not required but desired.
IT Project Management / Change Management experience
Exposure to Online Merchandising and Direct Fulfillment Supply Chain either internal or external
Experience managing direct reports
Nine to twelve years of experience is preferred.
Experience in the Logistics field preferred
Management experience preferred
