The Accounts Payable department within Warner Music Inc. is the corporate shared services team based in Burbank, CA which is directly responsible to support the following U.S. business operations for all record labels and Warner Music affiliates:

Corporate A/P Policy (establish and govern)

Invoice Processing


Vendor Maintenance

Customer support (both internal and external)

High Level Job Description: Responsible to help supervise, coordinate and manage the Accounts Payable Dept and process under the direction of the Accounts Payable Director. This would include the ensuring the quality of output all reporting documents, timing and accurate payments of invoices and compliance with all WMG ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Policies and guidelines. This position will entail interaction with both the onshore and offshore team as well as with vendors and operating divisions.

Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Monitor and streamline daily workflow

Handle escalated vendor calls

Month/Year End closings

Evaluate staff performance

Monitor/Report 1099-MISC REPORTING

Monitor/Report 1042 - S REPORTING

Implement procedures and controls - Update S.O.P. when necessary

Project Lead for Audit request

Project Lead for Accounts Payable Initiatives

Work/Coordinate efforts with offshore team personnel to identify and remove impediments to their daily job duties

Supervise and manage a personnel team of 2 and 11 offshore team members

Ability to work in a fast paced environment whereby a quick turn-around it required.

Required Competencies/Skills:
4 years of experience in Entertainment > Accounts Payable with SAP


Knowledge of Accounts Payable process flow

Project Management Experience

Experience handling multiple projects with departments/personnel.

Ability to work independently

Detail oriented

Ability to multi-task

Must proficient in Excel

PTP - SAP Experience

RTR – SAP Experience

Project Management

MS SharePoint a plus

Education Required:
BA Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent experience
