Responsible for the design, implementation, ongoing management and communication of the retirement programs, including defined benefit, defined contribution and non-qualified plans. Specific responsibilities include:
-Develop design recommendations for retirement plans.
-Develop and draft employee communication materials, including legally required notifications, such as Summary Annual reports and Annual Funding Notices.
-Manage third-party administrators, including defined benefit and defined contribution administrators.
-Monitor vendor performance, in order to maintain high levels of service and focus on process improvements that reduce cost, gain efficiencies and improve services.
-Ensure effective deployment of tools and resources to plan participants
-Ensure appropriate control environment, including SOX compliance
-Coordinate with legal, audit and finance departments for annual plan audits, government filings, and overall plan compliance
-Design and implement management reports tracking key accomplishments, operating statistics and plan performance.
-Manage retirement plan transitions for acquisitions and divestitures
-Facilitate Global Retirement Committee meetings and decision points; liaison with investment managers
-Non-qualified plans annual enrollment; new hire enrollment
-Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related field required
-Master's degree in related field preferred
-8-10 years of related experience in benefits required
-5 years of experience managing defined benefit pension plan required
-International retirement program experience preferred
-Strong technical skills with an advanced knowledge of accounting and regulatory issues related to qualified retirement plans
-Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
-Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
-Strong written and verbal skills
-Ability to work effectively with internal partners in legal and finance to administer the plans
-Ability to work effectively with senior management on complex issues
-Ability to manage multiple priorities
-Solid leadership and team development skills
