SNVC is seeking a Sr. Mobile/Wireless Comm. Network Specialist to work with and manage the following: Wireless Access Points, Antennas, Antenna attenuation, OSI model, MAC Layer/MPDU, network characteristics analysis, design of network topologies and site configurations, and installation, transition, and cutover of network components. Deploy P25 tactical communications systems.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: troubleshooting, repair, installation and customer training on Motorola Land Mobile Radio products. The equipment includes Conventional, Trunked, Simulcast, secure and digital technologies. Must be able to verbalize and communicate concepts and recommendations to the customers.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance

Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field

Must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience as an electronics or field technician

Experience working with RF Infrastructure Technologies to include Motorola SmartZone, Smartnet, Console Systems, ASTRO Conventional and Trunked equipment is strongly preferred

Must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience working in one of the following areas: Wireless Access Points, Antennas, Antenna attenuation, OSI model, MAC Layer/MPDU, network characteristics analysis, design of network topologies and site configurations, and installation, transition, and cut-over of network components

Must have working knowledge of tactical communications systems and be capable of planning, scheduling, staffing, and coordinating projects

Must have working knowledge of one or more of the following; Motorola Conventional, SmartNet, Centracom and MCC Console systems, Secure and ASTRO Digital systems and installation procedures

Must have strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office products and Motorola Radio Service Software products

Must have experience with (at least one of) the following: P25, LMR, Smart net, Smart Zone, RF infrastructure, ASTRO systems, radios and consoles

Must have experience and a detailed understanding of Motorola systems permitting the individual to assist in the design, troubleshooting and maintenance of Motorola's product lines

Must have a high understanding of Motorola RSS/CPS software and how to program subscribers and infrastructure equipment

Other Qualifications:
DHS suitability is preferred

Excellent communications skills and the ability to present a professional image is highly desired
