We are seeking a self-motivated, talented Sr. Product Manager – Web to manage a variety of current and upcoming web based tools. The Product Manager should have B2C and B2B experience, strong SEO knowledge, experience with web analytics and demonstrated business intelligence understanding. The Product Manager will help our product team execute on the overall product roadmap for RootMetrics and ensure that new and innovative ideas are consistently brought to market. Develop product requirement and wireframe documents for new web-based products
Help the product team execute on the overall product roadmap for RootMetrics
Work closely with customers to understand their needs
Guide marketing, engineering and engineering project manager on product process to evaluate concepts, determine level of effort, prioritize and evaluate trade-offs
Partner with the marketing and design teams to design compelling web based products (across multiple device platforms) that are simple, intuitive and easy to use
Oversee quality assurance of each product to identify possible issues and/or incorrect technical information
Review website analytics on an ongoing basis for use and performance trends and provide recommendations to optimize content based on findings
Run and monitor webpage testing to optimize performance and partner with marketing on user experience testing
Maintains web properties according to current industry standards and best practices
Develop product documentation for customer/consumer support
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
Good knowledge of web technologies, web standards, security, web development and server infrastructure is a must
Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence tools preferred.
Apply strategic thinking to deliver end-to-end user experience solutions with a focus on user needs and business goals.
Translate usability and user research findings into actionable and measurable product improvements
A basic understanding, at minimum, of SEO best practices
