The Sr. Product Manager - eProcurement has responsibility for the development and implementations of product strategies and tactics to support the total spend management technology solution. Working closely with a cross-functional team in sales, marketing and operations, this person will identify new market and new product opportunities to address customer problems. This person is also responsible for training and mentoring other team members.

Direct Supply DSSI is an online purchasing and reporting system for Senior Living corporations that provides a single source for automated procurement and spend management, which in turn drives purchasing compliance and optimized efficiency.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Seek new market opportunities for DSSI’s software as a service (SaaS) products in supply chain procurement, spend management and analytics
Initiate market research and analysis of market size, opportunity, segments and needs.
Use financial analysis to create and evaluate strategic options and opportunities.
Provide procurement and supply chain expertise to DSSI customers and sale team in new business pursuits.
Analyze market trends, industry drivers, technology trends, business processes, customer needs, and competitive solution offerings to use in development of product strategy.
Create and maintain business case for product strategies, including pricing, profitability, financial and operational metrics, and product road map.
Lead in the definition of functional requirements and product/solution-specific market requirements and deliverables including product road map.
Support product marketing, including positioning, segmentation, sales process, product definition, education and go-to-market.
Build and maintain relationships with key contacts in the industry and act a solution expert in company meeting, customer events and media engagements.
Train and mentor team members.
Assist the leader of product development to translate broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or Marketing
8+ years of relevant product management experience in a technology business with a demonstrated track record of delivering new and profitable products
Procurement experience in healthcare, hospitality, or similar industries preferred
Experience in large (billion +), corporate business-to-business e-commerce environment preferred
Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, procurement services and spend management tools/analytics
Demonstrated track record of superior business leadership, vision, judgment and execution
Proven experience working with, leading, and motivating cross-functional and virtual teams
Ability to travel up to 30%
