TellApart is looking for a leader to help create an enterprise-grade portal that leverages marketing insights from petabytes of data. To excel in the position you should be a data-driven person who loves building awesome products. Not only do you thrive in environments with lots of data, you're also just as passionate about creating rich user experiences that your users love. And it's this duality that makes you shine because you're equally comfortable making fact-based decisions as you are relying on your own production intuitions--and you can make the tough calls in either scenario!

As an impact player, you're always able to an eye on the big picture, even when you're sweating through specifics. And since data is the true lifeblood of our business--this is a unique opportunity for you to employ your passion, raw intellectual horsepower, relevant experience (including a flair for design), and work ethic to develop innovative, industry-leading solutions for TellApart. As a product champion, you will uncover new market opportunities and understand customer needs well enough to ensure the right things are always being built. Since you excel at capturing the essence of success, you almost seem to have an uncanny ability to translate key requirements into a format that engineering teams love--which is why you excel at aligning, shaping, scoping, building, delivering, and evangelizing great products.

Your impact on the business:
As a Product Manager, your job will be critical as you will be responsible for the v1 launch of a new portal, which will revolutionize the way our customers interact with our products (and big data platform).

Specifically, you would:
Own the product development cycle from Initial Concept to Market Leader (while growing within the role and expanding its scope as well)
Excite customers by creating solutions that generate deep, strategic value
Make sure the right things are built by working with internal and external customers to capture what success looks like and translate those requirements into a form that the internal product team can act on
Manage product development and user experience professionals
Define, measure, and socialize success metrics for the product
Monitor competitors’ market strategies and main product features to identify key areas of competitive differentiation and innovation for TellApart's products

And, ideally, you bring:
At least 3 years technical product management for large-scale, web-based systems/portals
Previous experience with (or strong exposure to) UXD/IXD (i.e., you have a proven ability to ensure users are delighted)
Proven leadership skills capable of motivating and directing a large cross-functional team
Deep passion about technology and marketing
A curious mind that can create and improve user experiences
Excellent communication skills with business and technical teams
Previous experience building data-driven / analytics-focused products is a strong plus
Experience working in an agile development environment (scrum preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, etc.)
