The Sr. Project Manager position will work closely with the Director of Office of Care Initiatives and internal customer base to understand business goals and solution needs, while actively participating in business requirements definition meetings. Completely interpret the business requirements into vision, strategy, approach, and all implementation plans. Translate the business requirements of areas affected by the project and the supporting areas required to effectively complete the project as defined. Working with the business owner, the Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for defining the measure of success for the project which should encompass goals, objectives, strategy, scope, budget, scheduling, risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, approach, requirements, deliverables, timelines, work breakdown structures, use cases, test cases, training needs, etc. as necessary for all project assignments. The Sr. Project Manager may be managing programs (groups of projects) or multiple projects simultaneously.
Prior professional experience should include project management experience working to drive projects for any department or field from the business side. This is not an IT PM position, meaning this PM must have a keen understanding of how technical departments work and the needs of technical departments. No specific technologies are required. Prefer international PM experience. The successful candidate can operate in a dynamic and fast paced environment while managing multiple projects concurrently. Candidates whose careers have focused primarily on IT projects will not be considered.
