Faithful+Gould is now accepting resumes from highly experienced Oil & Gas Operations Specialists for a vital role with an international client in the United Arab Emirates: Sr. Construction QA Manager. Working on an offshore oil and gas project, this person is responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) reviews and implementation of corrective actions throughout the assigned area of responsibility to comply with contractual requirements and corporate procedures/policies. Qualified applicants should be well versed in Quality Assurance Processes for the Oil & Gas Industry. This project is based out of our Houston office, but the position may be based out of another North American Faithful+Gould office, providing the employee understands the travel requirements for the job will exceed 80%. Special consideration will be given to candidates with prior viable work experience in Qatar.

Typical duties and responsibilities include:
Achieves quality assurance operational and project objectives leading QC reviews analysis of current project and program plans and procedures; preparing and completing audits; identifying and resolving quality control problems; determining system improvements; implementing change, and possible training of Client staff.

Validates quality management processes utilizing established procedures for validating client procedures; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

Maintains and improves quality by completing inspections and observations, compliance, and staff interviews; auditing vendor compliance; collaborating with other members of management to develop new means and methods and training procedures.

Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Monitoring the overall QA system for effectiveness and compliance to all system and procedures as well as Client requirements.

Preparing and revising system procedures to maintain compliance with relevant quality system standards.

Job Details

Applicable Candidates will possess the following knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications:

15 - 20+ years experience in Oil and Gas Operations environment

8 - 10+ years field experience required

Oil & Gas, Upstream or Offshore experience required

Quality Assurance/Control experience required

Risk Management Identification & Control experience strongly preferred

Management of Change/Continuous Improvement experience strongly preferred

General knowledge of Project Management (IT/IS) systems preferred

Ability to verify, document and communication audit results, develop an audit report and evaluated the effectiveness of a corrective action/follow-up

Possess interpersonal skills to resolve conflict, conduct interviews and make presentations effectively

Strong process and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and determine course of action

Strong ability to interact collaboratively with team members and Client

Working knowledge of SAP Business Intelligence software

Good organizational and time management skills with ability to perform under pressure and to adjust to changing priorities.

Must be familiar with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Vizio, and Project)

Strong networking, interpersonal and teamwork/collaboration skills required

Professionally qualified certification or membership required

Undergraduate degree in Engineering Construction Management or Business is strongly desired.

API Affiliation and/or a working knowledge and experience with API Quality Standards.

Preference giving to candidates with experience integrating American Petroleum Standards into foreign-operated company divisions, specifically in the Middle East.
