The Enterprise Information Services (EIS) team at Cedars-Sinai understands that true clinical transformation and the optimization of a clinical information systems implementation is fueled through the alignment of the right people, processes and technologies.

Currently, we are recruiting for a SR. Ambulatory Builder/Analyst.
1. (Project Management Focus)-
Completes all assigned project related tasks on time and within budget guidelines. Task assignment areas include but are not exclusive to status reporting, requirements gathering, scoping, vendor research, project planning, project documentation, resource planning, impact analysis, and project budgeting. Must demonstrate strong understanding of project management methodologies and components of the project lifecycle.
2. (Portfolio Management Focus)-
Independently manages portfolio of medium to large scale and complex projects throughout the project lifecycle and within scope, schedule, and budget. Works collaboratively with all team members to provide second level support.
3. (Analytics)
Leads and evaluates process and requirements analysis including process mapping through flowcharts, documenting current and future states, requirements elicitation, stakeholder analysis, and specification gathering on complex projects. In addition, synthesizes data to provide associated recommendations.
4. (Change Management)
Under broad direction, provides recommendations for user adoption and transition strategies, and identifies and delivers on change management strategies.

6. (Operational Expertise)
Applies expert level understanding of clinical/business departmental operations, processes and workflows with the ability to accurately document, discuss and identify dependencies with project team members and stake holders. Ability to synthesis operations and project interdependencies and make recommendations.
7. (Technical Capabilities)
Proactively promotes and adheres to EIS standards/protocols (e.g. change control process, incident management, support documentation). Demonstrates expert understanding of all aspects of IT, including systems, applications, operations, and support.
8. (Vendor Management)
Serves as the primary point of contact for vendor support assistance during the project lifecycle as well as in resolving issues and coordinating patches/upgrades within the current portfolio areas assigned. Manages relationship with and works with external vendors.
9. (Executive Communication)
Provides clear and organized status reporting on key project areas to be used as external communication to stakeholders. Coordinates team members to gather information and prepare organized, consistent and accurate status reporting.
10. (Strategy Setting)
Contributes to strategy discussions by proactively identifying options with the associated pros and cons with EIS team members and others.
11. (Recruiting)
Participates in new employee interviews and the on boarding process as needed. Actively contributes improvements to the on-boarding processes to retain new employees.
12. (Staff Development)
Takes the initiative to continuously self development and seek opportunities to advance within enterprise information systems. Demonstrates a good understanding of career path and training goals. Serves as a mentor to other staff.
13. (Budgeting)
Creates and maintains medium scale to complex project budgets by proactively obtaining project quotes from various internal and external sources.
14. Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements/Preferences:
Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training is required
•3- 5 years relevant healthcare information systems experience required
•Technical and functional knowledge of assigned information systems required
•Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and experience managing multiple projects
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
•Excellent interpersonal skills including superior oral and written communications
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills including tolerance for ambiguity
•Strong computer skills including Windows, Exchange/Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project
•Certification in Radiant required
