We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Scientist- Cheese Researchto join our R & D Department. This role is part of the Strategic Research Group (SRG) whose focus is applied research that aims to closely link the results of R&D efforts with the company’s operations, putting attention on major projects.

Key Responsibilities :
Product and process development from benchtop to plant trials. Initiate, plan, and manage multiple projects involving cheese or dairy. Apply creativity and innovation to solving technical problems. Plan and analyze complex experiments using sophisticated statistic tools. Develop, test, and evaluate cheese, proteins, carbohydrates, functional food ingredients and food products. Minimum Qualifications :

B.S., M.S. or PhD in an Engineering or scientific discipline. 4 years experience in the food industry. 2 years experience in the dairy industry. Experience in a lab setting with developing, testing, and evaluating dairy and cheese products. Experience with Microsoft Office and various statistics software. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

Excellent knowledge in dairy chemistry and engineering. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to successfully problem solve. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and interpret analytical and production data. Demonstrated organization skills. Ability to travel up to 30%. Presentation and report writing skills.
