The Clinical Pharmacogenomics (Clin PGx) Specialist position is a critical position responsible for assuring clinical pharmacogenomic research implementation, execution, and excellence in clinical development programs for Merck. The Clin PGx Specialist will work with clinical trial teams to assure design and implementation of clinical pharmacogenomic projects, write appropriate protocol language and informed consent language, negotiate the informed consent for biomarker samples with Institutional Review Boards, Ethics Committees, and National Regulatory agencies, assure project execution, and profide scientific input for interpretation of data.
- PhD or BS/MS with a minimum of 10 years clinical development experience
- PharmD, PhD, MD with direct experience in pharmacogenomic research.
- Informed consent negotiation experience is a plus.
