Serve as Unit Information Assurance Officer (IA)88 CE.
The IA is responsible for ensuring that all networked
and stand-alone computer systems comply with DoD/AF/AFMC
IA standards.
Disseminate information and advise Directorate personnel
on information assurance standards and measures to
needed to comply with those standards. Prepare 88 CE for
any IA-related inspections and address any IA related
findings that may arise from those inspections.
Review all network vulnerability reports and Time
Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs) issued by the WPAFB
Information Assurance Office and take appropriate
action. Ensure that all requests to access the AF
network and CE legacy systems are properly documented
and authenticated.
Manage 88 CE user accounts for the Air Force network and
CE legacy systems including creating accounts, deleting
accounts, resetting passwords and troubleshooting system
Maintain certification and accreditation of GVISION and
the Video Teleconference including applying software
patches, maintenance of system log files, coordination
of quarterly Control Board meetings, conducting annual
security reviews, issuance of POA&Ms and making updates
to EIDTR and E-Mass.
The contractor shall provide technical support for
stand-alone (off network) computer
systems including installation of operating systems and
mission-related software, troubleshooting
applications and implementing all recommended measures
to assure systems comply with D0D/AF/AFMC INFOSEC and
COMPUSEC standards. Provide top level oversight of
organization web portal and Sharepoint site content.
Responsible for monitoring activities of ADPE

Required Skills:
  • Server manager, ADPE, CSA (computer support), FSA,
DIACAP, NDAA. They don't need all of them but a majority
or if they worked on base a few years they will most of
  • 3-5 years experience Network Engineer Windows 7,
Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008, Internet
Information Services (IIS).
  • A plus is Unix experience and 3-5 years working on the
  • Apply for and renew firewall and telewall exceptions.
  • Secret clearance
