Position Overview:

Allyis is seeking a full-time Project Manager to assist and act as a Project & Product Manager to one of our senior level clients. Our client has developed a Pilot Program to increase the breadth of support offerings provided in the SMB market. This role would instrumental in scaling out the geographical footprint for the support offerings, and maturing its operations to further impact customer retention, sales, and entitlement programs.

We are looking for advanced candidates who have strong product planning and project management skills, can think strategically to help drive the business, and can interface with both IT and business to ensure the high quality solution is delivered. Impeccable professionalism and excellent organizational skills are qualities that candidates must bring to the table. This position will be required to attend meetings with upper management executive teams, provide status reports, and maintain communication lines with various levels of upper management to drive project initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document business and technology requirements for integration of new support offering with existing licensing programs and fulfillment systems
  • Product planning, business process analysis, design and implementation (requirements analysis, data requirements, business process analysis, concepts/ policies and procedures, documentation)
  • Collect information and/or business requirements from various individuals across departments
  • Develop and maintain work breakdown schedules and task dependencies, timeline management, identify owners, activities, deliverables, and be responsible for hitting pre-determined SLAs
  • Risk and issue management
  • Responsible for project execution pieces (schedule meetings, conference calls, meeting notes, etc.)
  • Develop content for cross-department SharePoint site
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills:
  • 6+ years Business Analysis and Project/Product Management experience
  • 4+ years Consulting and business process redesign experience
  • 2+ years (recent) Microsoft Service & Support and/or Microsoft Licensing experience
  • Advanced evaluation and decision making skills, particularly in technical arena
  • Business planning and cost/benefit analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Services and Support Systems (products and services)
  • Strong negotiation, consultative sales and relationship building ability
  • Customer service and product quality orientation
  • Excellent written communication skills (prepare emails for client) at executive level
  • Able to work cross-functionally within respective departments
  • Must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks and requests based on evolving business needs
  • High responsiveness and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Able to work independently with confidence to make quick logical business decisions
  • Software required: Microsoft Office products, Visio, Sharepoint, Microsoft Project. Ability to scope out projects and maintain project requirements
