There are three main areas within sales: Bakeries & Foodservice, Consumer Foods, and Customer Service. Job Description: General Mills is seeking a Foodservice Ingredients Territory Manager in the Miami area to be responsible for achieving all sales, profits and budget objectives established for the territory in Flour, Bakery Mix, Foodservice Mix and Frozen Bakery products. Territory includes all Bakery and Foodservice Distributors in South Florida. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESIn this role you will: Distributor Sales1. Responsible for managing Flour, Frozen and Bakery Mix Product sales to Bakery Distributor Accounts and Flour/Foodservice Mix Sales to Foodservice Distributor Accounts 2. Develop strong relationships with Distributor Buyers, VP of Merchandising & VP of Sales. Includes bi-weekly reviews and quarterly business review with partner distributors3. Lead DSR Training including large group presentations 4. Develop, pitch and manage MAP/PIP trade accrual programs Operator Sales 1. Plan and execute 60 operator calls/months, targeting large operators 2. Support DSR leads. Provide phone/e-mail support to small operators 3. Understand customer's bakery operations, GMI product features/benefits, and develop basic baking skills Business Planning: Portfolio Management1. Develop annual territory volume, trade expense, travel expense plans, including focused product growth strategies 2. Understand GMI profitability. Align resources to Partner Distributors Budget Management 1. Manage CTM PIP/MAP and Growth Budgets 2. Propose incremental trade promotions to the Zone Manager 3. Provide monthly Sysco Category Mgmt analysis, and action plans to achieve the customers Total Category and Sysco Brand goals Other 1. Collaborate with the FSD peer on shared customers 2. Work with the Zone Manager, Sales Peers, Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Credit3. Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*Bachelor's Degree*Minimum of 4 years of Foodservice sales or equivalent business-to-business sales experience required*Work does involve occasionally lifting 50lb bags and running bakery products in customer facilities*Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills *Strategic Business Development, Strong Communication and Collaboration skills*Business Management skills to Deliver Outstanding Results *Ability to excel in a team environment*LI-CC1 Our Brands.
