Making it Possible
Turn Life-Threatening to Life-Changing:
Cardiac Nurses Make It Possible
Ranked #7 in the nation, #1 in New York City
in the U.S. News & World Report “America’s Top Hospitals” survey.
In cardiac nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian, you’ll feel the pulse of Amazing Things. We provide the highest level of care for some of the most complex patient cases. That means saving lives, ranking 4th in the nation for Heart and Heart Surgery in U.S. News & World Report. That means practicing autonomously, with shared governance and flexible scheduling, in collaborative hospital settings. When Ed Koch, David Letterman and Bill Clinton experienced life-threatening heart conditions, they came to us—and found the care they needed.
Half a century ago, the modern era of cardiac medicine began here with cardiac catheterization. Today evolving practices, research and education are a catalyst for innovation. We’re posting record-high patient AND employee satisfaction scores. We’re posting record-high nursing retention. We’ve recently expanded into two all-new, hi-tech hospital heart centers: The Vivian and Seymour Milstein Family Heart Center of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and The Ronald O. Perelman Heart Institute of NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
A “destination hospital,” we have over 25 years of experience in caring for cardiac transplant patients. See how you can Make It Possible in this specialty:
