To provide administrative and professional nursing support for a designated patient population. Responsible for managing and coordinating various nursing activities necessary for an efficient patient care process.
Provides direct patient care in medical clinic, women's clinic, immunization clinic, flu and TB on-campus outreaches. Provides patient education and counseling on disease treatment/prevention and healthy lifestyles. Ensures nursing operations comply with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) standards. May participate in quality improvement studies to improve both process and outcomes of medical care.
Other functions as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a current Texas nursing license. At least 1 year of nursing experience required.
