Health at Home - Full Time Scheduling / Staffing Coordinator
Schedules field staff, giving pertinent client information, providing directions and other appropriate assistance to staff. May assist in recruitment and selection of agency field staff employees. Organizes and sets priorities to manage the daily/weekly workload. The first priority is always staffing cases and responding to residents and clients.
Use computer and scheduling software to schedule direct care field staff.
Ensures accuracy of employee/client schedules.
Prepare payroll for submission to the Accounting Department.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of weekly payroll batching processes.
Answers incoming telephone calls promptly in a polite and pleasant manner at all times.
Manage and organize the daily/weekly work requirements.
Obtain appropriate information from prospective clients or health care facilities to complete requests for private duty or staff relief personnel. Complete Intake Form and communicate information promptly to Case Manager.
Communicate pertinent information to the Administrator, Case Managers/Supervising Nurse, field employees, other office personnel, other health care facility staff, clients or families in a timely and organized manner.
Under supervision of Administrator, interviews potential field employees, and perform reference checks. Process new hire paperwork.
Assign work schedules to field employees under supervision of Supervising Nurse
Resolves employee/client problems with input from the Supervising Nurse and/or Administrator.
Communicates and documents issues and/or incidents regarding employees or clients; communicates information and provides reports to the Supervising Nurse or Administrator.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company, employee and client information.
Maintain professional communication with all clients, client families, facilities, officers, physician offices; refers to Administrator when need arises.
Conduct orientation in conjunction with the clinical staff for new field staff; provides instruction on the requirements of the position and orientation to the facilities.
Assume scheduling on call responsibilities after normal business hours as designated. Refers all clinical issues or questions to the Nurse on call.

High school graduate or equivalent Two year degree preferred.
Computer proficiency to include data entry and word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to read, write and follow directions in English.
Must have excellent customer service and telephone skills; must have strong organization skills.
2-3 years staffing/scheduling experience in home health industry strongly preferred.
One to two years of experience in health care or related field preferred.
