A-T Solutions is seeking a Stand-Off Explosive Hazard Detection (SEHD) Capabilities Development Subject Matter Expert to provide support to the USMC Force Protection Integration Division, Capabilities Development Directorate, Deputy Commandant, Combat Development and Integration.
Seeking a capabilities development subject matter expert with a strong background in stand-off explosive hazards technologies and techniques to assist in the development of the capabilities documentation to address the integration of new SEHD capabilities in the Marine Corps. Responsibilities will include supporting the management business processes and procedures, facilitating requirements gathering, analysis, and integration of SEHD requirements across the Marine Corps Enterprise. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring requirements are clearly articulated, documented and tracked within the Marine Corps Force Development System. They must act as the liaison between the customer, logistics capabilities developments and multiple acquisition program offices.
Support the FPID C-IED portfolio with technical analysis of proposed systems, coordination with operating forces for the resolution of Urgent Universal Need Statements (UUNS) and JUONS, reviewing doctrine for new concepts and weapons, and providing input to Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) analysis.
Provide continued SME input and analysis in support of standoff explosive hazard detection capabilities developed by the Urgent Needs Process (e.g., UNS, UUNS & JUONS).
Actively support the transition of key SEHD technologies from urgent to enduring Marine Corps capabilities.
Analyze inputs from a wide array of agencies, both internal and external to the Marine Corps, and coordinate inputs to define and identify concepts, validate requirements, describe capabilities, refine and revalidate existing requirements and identify both capability gaps and excesses for FPID.
Complete tasks that support this objective which include Marine Corps Action Tracking System (MCATS) task review and assessment, review and technical review of Approved Acquisition Objectives (AAOs) in the Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), reviewing reports from the Marine Corps Center for Lessons Learned, and technical review of draft Congressional testimony.
Responsible for general capabilities integration support to Protection Integration Division.
At a minimum the candidate shall possess:
Minimum of 5 years work experience, of which a minimum of 2 years must involve the analysis, development, or deployment of C-IED capabilities/training.
Minimum of one year specific experience in USMC capabilities development is required.
Completion of DAU courses RQM 110 and CLM 041 are desired. If not complete, candidate will be expected to complete after hiring.
