Mapi is adding to our current Statistician Team in Lexington, KY! With your Master's Degree, and a minimum of one (1) year work experience in either a clinical research setting, biopharmaceutical setting, or academic setting, we want to talk to you today! Department: Statistics Location: Lexington, KY Summary: The Statistician will provide sound statistical oversight of clinical research studies, mentor other statisticians, and provide strong client interactions. The individual in this position is expected to provide or oversee statistical input into design and development of study protocols, CRFs, statistical analysis plans and study reports. They will assist company management in development of MAPI's strategic direction with respect to industry trends and innovation in statistics, epidemiology, and outcomes research. Basic Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in Biostatistics or Statistics required. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in clinical research in a biopharmaceutical or academic setting required. Qualified candidates must have sound knowledge of the application of advanced statistical methods in clinical research gained through experience and education. Additional Qualifications: PhD is preferred.Responsibilities: Responsible for serving as the statistical consultant participating in all aspects of protocol/study design, statistical analyses, review, interpretation and reporting, including preparation of statistical methodology sections, sample size calculations and study endpoints.Responsible for planning and directing study-level statistics activities, including work of other statisticians. Act as an advisor to meet timelines and contribute to the identification and resolution of statistical issues. Perform exploratory and ad-hoc analyses. Responsible for researching therapeutic statistical procedures and publications plans for posters, manuscripts and abstracts. Responsible for representing MAPI at Scientific Advisory Group, investigator, and sponsor meetings. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
