JOB SUMMARY: The Stockroom Clerk is responsible to handle, store and track inventory in accordance with Company policy and procedures to prevent damage or loss. The function of the Stockroom Clerk is to manage the inventory and support the Production departments. Stockroom Clerk functions include: receiving, picking, and managing materials; picking-up and dropping-off materials from/to various locations/functions; reviewing job and inventory costs; back-up Order Fulfillment/ Shipping, and other
duties as assigned Stockroom Clerks will train and work flexibly in all of the following primary classifications. Stockroom Clerks may serve in one role for an extended period of time, but all Stockroom Clerks are flexible between all positions and none are exclusively assigned. • Picking - Picks parts for work orders going to Production or outside services; Works the Stockroom Window to accommodate material requisitions • Water-spider - May act as the individual assigned the task
of material replenishment to the Production Cells where/when applicable • Receiving - Receives and stores materials from vendors and Production; Manages shortages; Kitting. Cycle Counting - Prints reports, performs cycle counts, posts results and reconciles discrepancies. • Analysis - Reviews material and labor postings, resolves questions and errors. All Stockroom Clerk positions are fast-paced and very mobile, highly detailed, customer service oriented, problem solving oriented,
and flexible to help wherever needed. All Stockroom positions involve a high volume of detailed computer work as well as detailed material handling. Duties and responsibilities: Ensure materials are handled and stored to prevent damage or loss. Perform applicable transactions in computer system correctly to ensure inventory accuracy. Pull and kit materials for Work Order requirements and print applicable paperwork. Pull and kit materials required for customer
orders and print/complete applicable paperwork. Pick materials required for unplanned issues to support Service, Manufacturing and Engineering. Perform inventory counts (cycle counts, physical inventory counts) to ensure inventory accuracy. Ensure materials are properly identified at all stages of handling and storage. Ensure work and storage areas are maintained in a neat and orderly manner. Must be able to lift 50#. Perform other tasks as
required to support material handling, storage, or distribution.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS Visual ERP experience desirable Prior inventory management experience ideal though not required 1-2 years work experience EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent.
