Macy's Logistics and Operations has a great opportunity for a Manager of Stock in the Big Ticket operations at their Stone Mountain Distribution Center
Oversee inbound receiving, unloading of freight and expediting merchandise flow to processing areas in our Big Ticket operation.
Insure timely accurate loading of new receipts, transfers, returns and hangers.
Facilitate questions and resolve problems from carriers.
Monitor and review expense/budget
Participate on Six Sigma projects as required.
Manage, coach develop and provide leadership for associates on a daily basis.
Create and maintain a safe and friendly working environment.
Any other responsibilities management deems essential.
Excellent organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Must possess exceptional leadership skills.
Ability to make sound decisions and manage several processes in a fast paced environment, while the challenging status quo.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Bachelors degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Required (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes)
Interpersonal competencies to include: integrity and trust, adaptability, leadership, motivation ability, coaching and mentoring skills, and initiative.
Business and intellectual competencies to include: industry understanding of warehouse management,
Ability to successfully supervise/execute multiple projects simultaneously.
