Strategic Account Management Executive -Clinical Care Management

Our Clinical Account Management Executive meaningfully articulates and drives the value of clinical solutions through sales, implementation and account management functions helping WellPoint to achieve revenue, retention, membership and profitability goals. Marginalizes our competitors base with highly clinical interventions and member effective/efficient messaging.

Manages and coordinates strategic clinical account service activities as the primary customer contact for integrated clinical programs within a defined book of business for large National Accounts and federal business. May also work with new sales. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: defines and oversees the execution of account management and retention strategy for a defined book of accounts. Identifies opportunities for penetration sales. Provides support for field sales staff with RFP responses, proposals, client presentations, and underwriting coordination on new business sales opportunities. Proactively develops effective business relationships with consultants, and key decision makers in order to meet or exceed new and renewal sales targets. Responsible for managing the annual renewal process for accounts, including underwriting negotiation, preparation of renewal analysis, and client presentations. Coordinates and controls new business implementation activities. Works directly with Sales Account Representatives/Account Service Representatives to assure that all aspects of clinical account service run smoothly.
