Job Summary:
The incumbent in this role will be accountable for the sales of DealerTrack’s Sales, F & I and Compliance Solutions to assigned large franchise car dealership groups (Strategic Accounts) in the western region. Will be accountable for generating and maximizing sales revenue and increasing the usage of DealerTrack’s Sales/F & I/Compliance and Digital Retailing Solutions to our elite customer base in the eastern or central region. The successful candidate will work out of a home office based in the region. ~

Primary Duties:
  • Generate revenue in conjunction with the Sales Organization
  • Build relationships with Senior Executives of the designated Strategic Accounts, which will include the largest franchise dealership groups in the country
  • Uncover opportunities to propel company growth
  • Sell the Sales/F & I/Compliance and Digital Retailing Solutions to assigned Strategic Accounts in the central and/or eastern region
  • Successful candidate will work out of a home office based in a large eastern or central city
  • Heavy travel is required.
Requirements

  • Ability to close opportunities while maintaining and building relationships -Fundamental understanding of dealership operations
  • Knowledge of DealerTrack’s Sales/F & I/Compliance and Digital Retailing Solutions
  • Above average computer skills
  • 3-5+ years of related experience in outside software sales to automotive dealerships highly preferred
  • Planning and prospecting skills
  • Proficient in time and territory management
  • Good networking skills for prospecting and referrals
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, analytical, and listening skills
  • Public speaking abilities
  • Highly organized
  • Problem solving skills
