This is a complex financial services role related to high profile strategic fleets with an emphasis on customer service and retention, focused on reducing risk and maximizing profits. The Analyst designs, executes, and ensures accurate financial and process controls, which enable timely, predictable and accurate billing and payment remittance processing, credit management and overall accounts receivable management. This position maximizes revenues by reducing risk with an emphasis on credit line management and maintaining A/R delinquencies within approved departmental targets.
The Analyst oversees an assigned portfolio and develops relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as uses established procedures and techniques to attain department and company goals. This individual also works with a cross functional risk team to minimize bad debt by utilizing weekly and monthly reports, as well as analyzing other available reports to monitor and manage a high profile portfolio to meet and exceed predetermined target delinquency rates.
This position also requires specific abilities to operate in a fast pace environment under time constraints. The ability to multitask, prioritize time and manage conflicting priorities in an ever changing environment is considered critical.
Implements a proactive approach by communicating to the fleets extremely sensitive issues, such as potential service interruption, credit line decreases, late fees, financial statement needs, and changes in payment terms in a way that does not endanger the retention of these high profile fleets, while remaining empathetic to the fleet’s business needs.
This will be accomplished by minimizing the potential negative impact to these high profile fleets, through account maintenance which includes but is not limited to the use of specialized tools and reports, such as the daily payments posted reports. Other responsibilities include auditing individual billing files, reconciling accounts, reallocating credit, participating in credit committee and ensuring customer payments post to the intended accounts.
