The Strategic Relationships Director is an executive level Account Management role with overall account retention and growth responsibilities. Provides strategic direction and management of all reseller’s relationships. Essential duties include, but are not limit to: providing resellers with sales leadership, facilitating reseller sales, providing marketing support and account management support to ensure profitable growth. Executes on plans to improve reseller value representations and sales effectiveness. Negotiates and obtains payor agreements with reseller’s clients. Facilitates opening new doors, develops & maintains an active reseller pipeline, provides accurate monthly reporting of activities & opportunities and coordinates team to help close key business opportunities. Expands market awareness. Effectively manages the overall financial relationship with all resellers including managing A/R issues and collections on unpaid claims. Demonstrated ability in managing executive level service and sales relationships, ability to manage complex assignments, takes own initiative. Willing to lead the RFP process. Candidate is also a market intelligence leader to assist management with product, pricing and strategic initiatives to better leverage competitive position. The expectation is the successful candidate will generate up to $2M in additional annual revenue through successful channel relationship management.
Requires a BA/BS degree; More than 10 years of sales, channel management and/or executive account management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas required: sales, revenue generation, account management, broker relations, client retention, and sales training.
