What we need :
Strategy Directors work alongside our clients to develop, refine, and execute their customer marketing and management vision and strategy. They are practitioners and trusted CRM advisors and consultants who have developed and deployed comprehensive customer strategies across dozens of clients. Strategy Directors are engaged by senior management to help diagnose fundamental issues with business models, define and address changes in customer decision-making and buying habits, and craft go to market strategies. They create differentiating strategies that leverage best practices, customer interactions and insights to drive deeper customer relationships and maximize profitability.

This position is key to supporting our financial services vertical, and will require extensive knowledge and experience in the financial services industry, specifically within Consumer Lending (Equity Acquisition).

Position Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to one or more of ours full-service Fiserv account management teams.

Formulate annual direct marketing strategic planning documents which influence all client direct marketing activities

Architect campaign-specific testing framework and tactics

Develops direct marketing strategies and detailed campaign plans for specific areas of business Utilizes research and competitive analysis to formulate program and messaging strategies

Work closely with our analytics team to review audience to offer arbitration, segmentation, use of models, projections, test plans

Works closely with creative team to develop messaging strategies, value propositions, and positioning

Provide feedback to client on program and campaign performance results

Participate in sales opportunities for prospects, providing and presenting direct marketing solutions reflecting thought leadership in the banking arena

Required Skills

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred

8-10+ years DM agency experience managing multi-channel direct marketing program development (developing and presenting DM strategies, managing client relationships, reviewing and presenting program analysis)

5-7 years of banking experience; experience working in a top 20 bank, running and managing multi-channel direct marketing programs

Requires a seasoned professional with deep experience in direct marketing in equity lending space (mortgage acquisition)

Experience in database marketing and direct mail analytics (matrix design, proj, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed direct marketing revenue and ROI goals through creating and implementing direct marketing programs (with significant experience CRM and digital channels, preferred)

Ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet business objectives, fostering strong working relationships

Experience with bureau and mortgage data, test design, program development, and campaign execution

Ability to manage multiple projects/program elements simultaneously

Strong, creative problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to travel (25-30%, though at times can be as high as 35% if remote)

Checking Acquisition experience

Digital experience

CRM Experience

Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint (able to craft a compelling story using)

Location: Columbia, Maryland preferred, but willing to consider remote location in eastern time zone (or relocate).
