This position requires a High School diploma or GED and requires the employee to meet the para-educator criteria of the No Child Left Behind Act which is either two years (48 units) of study at an institution of higher education, or an associate's degree or higher. Proof of taking and passing a Paraeducator's Test will also qualify. Experience working with students with special needs; position may involve lifting, assistance with toileting and self-help skills.
