Minimum Essential Qualifications:|
General office skills including alphabetizing, grammar, punctuation and spelling, keyboarding, word processing experience, experience using printer/scanner/copier and postage machines , intermediate computer and internet skills and understandings, ability to multi-task, positive attitude, initiative, excellent customer service attitude.
- Experience working in Access, Excel, MSOfficeXP, and Peoplesoft.

- Hours of work between 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday - flexible, but prefer availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

The Student Clerical and Admin Support will be the first point of contact for staff, faculty, students, and guests in 111 Cooke Hall. The student will be expected to direct questions to the appropriate personnel. In addition, the student will assist the Director, the Department Administrator, and the Administrative Specialist with a variety of scheduling, Human Resources, Payroll, accounting and general office tasks.
25% Assist department administrator & executive office and admin specialist with tasks: compile information, create employee expense reimbursements, create purchase requests, trouble-shoot, organize tasks, computer and a/v set-up for meetings, and miscellaneous special projects.
20% Customer Service: greet and assist visitors, faculty and staff in the office and at special events, respond to emails, answer phones, check out keys, and distribute parking passes.
20% Facilities Support: assist Facilities staff members with office moves (including furniture), building organization and appearance, stocking supplies, bulletin boards and signs.
15% General Office support: make copies, scan and upload documents, mail items, respond to emails, file and archive documents, package delivery/ pickup, maintain key database (including key maps), keep supplies stocked, maintain cleanliness of office and break room, assist with set-up and clean-up of gatherings (including laptop and A/V equipment), general word processing and database management (Access and Excel).
15% Data Entry and Analysis: generate and monitor Human Resources, Key, Purchasing, and Budget database entries; gather and interpret data, create graphs and maintain spreadsheets; provide payroll entry and reconciliation support
5% Other duties as assigned
