Provide technical assistance to computer system users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or to remote locations. Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including but not limited to: Internet, printing, mobile devices, software installation, word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail, and operating systems. Provide assistance to clients concerning access to virtual services and classrooms, including but not limited to: Eagles Eye, ANGEL, registration, transcripts and smart room technology. Enter unresolved problems into the department tracking software.
Start Date: As soon after hiring as practical.
- Current LCCC student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Spring 2013 semester.
- Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
- Customer service oriented, knowledgeable about computers and software; have telephone skills, capable of learning new skills, works well with frustrated individuals.
- Federal Work Study Eligible (check with Financial Aid office to determine eligibility).
