"John Muir Health High School Summer Intern Program"


Applications will not be considered unless ALL of the below requirements are met.

Summer job at one of the John Muir Health facilities or offices doing clerical work.

Serious interest in a healthcare career.

Commitment to work full-time for 8 weeks from 6/17/2013 through 8/9/2013; 100%

attendance is required.

Mature, professional behavior and attitude.

Excellent written and verbal skills as well as basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word,

Excel and PowerPoint.

Must be at least 16 years of age at start of program (6/17/2013) and a student in high school

entering either your Junior or Senior year.

Current work permit for applicants under 18 years of age will be required at time of hire.

Two letters of recommendation, at least one from a teacher, and current school attendance

record will be required at time of interview.

When applying, you MUST attach into the application your cover letter and resume, on the

“Additional Attachments” page.

You MUST include a full paragraph describing your career goals; start this paragraph with

the words “Career Goals: ” (this can be included in your cover letter).

Use the "Save as Draft" button if you want to save your unfinished application and return to it

at another time.

Hit “Submit” at the end of the application only after you have reviewed your application, you

are satisfied with it and you are ready to send it to Human Resources.

You MUST hit “Submit” at the end of the application for it to be sent to Human Resources. If

you don’t hit “Submit,” your application will not be fully submitted even if you receive a

message saying it has been received.

Once you hit “Submit,” your application will be sent to Human Resources and you cannot

retrieve or change it. No exceptions!
