The Rocketdyne Aero Thermo Fluids Department is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student in Engineering to work as a summer intern. The successful candidate will support senior engineers in the performance of technical and project-related tasks. Work responsibilities may include combustion analysis and design, test data analysis, aerothermodynamics and heat transfer, or rotating machinery analysis.
Course study toward a Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering) with a GPA of 3.3 or higher. The ideal candidate either plans to continue with graduate studies (M.S. degree or Ph.D) or is currently pursuing a graduate degree.
Candidate should have completed at least their Junior year of a four year curriculum, or equivalent, by June 2013. Additional work experience in related field is preferable.
Summer internship will run from May/June-August/September 2013. The position is in Canoga Park, California.
