General Purpose: Seeking an intern for Summer 2013 to support the Valuation and Financial Opinions group. Interns will perform under the direction of analysts, associates, and vice presidents in the Valuation & Financial Opinions group. SRR’s intern program is a great opportunity for talented business students to fully utilize the skills acquired in college.
Responsibilities include preparing financial models and quantitative analysis of financial statements. Interns will also perform company, industry, and economic research. In addition, interns will prepare closed-end and mutual fund studies. Projects include a wide range of industries including retail, media, service, manufacturing, wholesale, energy, real estate, telecommunications, banking, and healthcare. Interns make direct and significant contributions to final valuation reports for our clients. We provide our interns a challenging and rewarding experience.

- Pursuing a 4 year undergraduate degree with a concentration in finance or accounting
- 6 hours of accounting coursework
- 6 hours of finance coursework
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task
- Proficient in Excel
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Minimum 3.3 GPA
